Song of the High Tide

Song of the High Tide, was given to me on my last day on the island of 'Eua in the South Pacific in 2013.  I had been communing with the humpback whales for two weeks and was blessed to witness a newborn humpback learning how to be a whale.  

I was told that the seed idea I had been carrying for several months was meant to be a full length feature film and the Song of the High Tide was to be the opening, title song for that movie.  The incredible wave action in the video comes from time at spent at Laupahoehoe, at the site where a tsunami wiped out a village.  

The video ends abruptly because the wave was high enough to reach where we were standing and watching that morning.
